Academic Affiliations
As Creative Director of the WVU Chapter of the American Marketing Association, my primary responsibilities included designing and printing all graphics materials for the chapter including bi-weekly meeting posters, chapter plans, and the annual report. Additionally, I documented chapter events through photography and film mediums to utilize in the Social Impact Video used to compete at the International Collegiate Conference.
I graduated with honors from Alpha Mu Alpha, the national marketing honorary for qualified undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral marketing students and marketing faculty. Under the auspices of the AMA, a selected advisory committee of marketing educators designed the Alpha Mu Alpha recognition program to acknowledge outstanding scholastic achievement.
As a member of the Student Wellbeing Ambassador Team, I supported comprehensive educational wellness programming and outreach services to West Virginia University students on campus throughout each semester. This team engaged with students through various activations centered on mental health practices, exercise, nutrition, safe alcohol consumption, and sexual health and safety.
Academic Involvement
Studied abroad with a group of WVU students and faculty to participate in the university-led Latin American Studies program and explore historic sites such as Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu, engaging first-hand in Latin American history and culture.
Served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the WVU Department of Communication Studies, working closely with the course professor to review and grade student assignments for COMM 104: Fundamentals of Public Speaking.
Participated in the General Electric Interview Competition, a mock interview simulation where business students gain valuable professional interview experience. Top performers are invited to a networking event hosted by General Electric.
